2. The Church of the Saviour on Spilled Blood

The Church of the Saviour on Spilled Blood is also called the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ. The colourful domes at the top make it a beautiful edifice to behold in Saint Petersburg. The church was built between 1883 and 1907, on the site where Emperor Alexander II was wounded. The collection of mosaics in the church has made it one of the tourist attractions in Saint Petersburg.
